Our first home tournament in the Donabate-Portrane sports centre was a fantastic event and well done to all the U10 and U12 girls, you all played extremely well. We played against the U10 and U12 Hockey teams from Drogheda.

The hall was full of supporters and they made a lot of noise to support our girls and it worked miracles as they played like real professionals.

The U10 girls were very close to winning their match and the girls played great hockey. The U12 girls were up next and after an intensive warming up session they played a super match. A good defence, solid midfield and the forwards were able to score the goals. They demonstrated some great team work which resulted in the first win of the season. Well done girls and keep up the team work!
